This Scandinavian home is not your average Nordic one, to begin with, since it belongs to writer Annika von Holdt, who’s also a photographer and a newbie. Annika has an amazing eye for details, and you’re going to see it in once in her home décor. Secondly, it has includes plenty of fire and glam, that is not standard for a Danish interior.
The apartment can be found in the historical district, in a building of about 120 years old, surrounded by trees, it is worthy of a Tim Burton movie. The apartment layout was entirely changed by the owners but the feel of the original style was left: you will find moldings on the ceiling, chimneys, vaulted windows along with numerous doors.
Annika picked a monochromatic palette but with some contrasts. I would say that she used minimalist style with glam touches and vintage finds. Annika states that she enjoys to buy vintage furniture and accessories which have some imperfections due to the fact that they seem more beautiful to her, and she broadly uses them to get décor. It’s clearly seen that the proprietor enjoys decoration, fashion, style, and photography in the plan.
The rooms and spaces are both all airy and light-filled, and it is standard for décor. You will find conventional whitewashed wooden floors and white walls however you could also view many bold glam touches like oversized black and white photos in large elegant metallic frames or fur covers. Take a look at the distances to get inspired!
