Skylab Architecture built this amazingly angular home in Portland Oregon. The cantilevered part of the home advertisements some serious drama and interest. The home feels kind of like a super modern treehouse with a few of the most iconic design pieces indoors.
One of the main features of the insides is relaxing and stunning woodland views that are incorporated to the décor of every room with large fully glazed walls — what could be better to enjoy this view? Some spaces, such as the kitchen, are completely glazed. The extensive usage of warm-colored wood throughout the house makes it very inviting and chic.
My favorite space here’s the home office. It features white shelves that cover the entire wall, natural cabinets and a tabletop that seems to be a continuation of those cabinets. Nevertheless, the principal design feature here’s a distinctive geometric cutout with a skylight — it’s not your usual window! Such a space is quite inspiring, gorgeous and functioning here must be amazing!
The master bathroom has a cool opinion, too! There is a massive shower space clad with gray tiles, and there’s a trendy glazed wall with a skylight — dipping into character is simpler with such a layout idea, and it appears very unusual.
The living room, dining space and kitchen comprise one open layout however, the living and dining spaces are split with fireplace wall with a TV. I love the idea of making a concrete kitchen island combined with a breakfast table, it’s a contemporary and very sensible idea. Get more pictures of the remarkable house below!
