Using its tight place, together with consistent winds, the layout proved a struggle and consisted of producing privacy amongst the turmoil. This resulted in a home that turned inward and into the amazing valley views below.
The plan consists of four replicated volumes which are included in a exterior wall. By switching the volumes, they made four courtyards inside the small structure, which has been done to prevent strong winds. The stark white exterior includes a minimalist shape as to not fight with its own surroundings. Using its lack of windows, it might seem that the inside be dark and shut off but it’s just the contrary, due to the courtyards and the usage of white colour absolutely anywhere, and most of us recognize that it reflects the light.
Each room opens into one courtyard and up into three producing indoor/outdoor living. The glass doors have been aligned so that the valley viewpoints can be observed throughout. The inside features are retained minimal using a clean colour palette and restricted decor, which keeps it sense bigger than it truly is.
